Pat Price

PriceDefenseman Pat Price was a dominant junior hockey player in Saskatoon in the early 1970s and was selected in the first round, 11th overall, by the New York Islanders in the 1975 Amateur Draft. Pat opted to play his first pro season with the Vancouver Blazers of the WHA before joining the Islanders the following year. After 4 years in the Isles system Pat was traded to the Edmonton Oilers where he played a couple of seasons then moved on to Pittsburgh for a season and a half before landing in Quebec for a four year run. Pat left the Nordiques in 1986-87 for the New York Rangers for a short stint before finishing his NHL career in Minnesota.
